The evening featured The Witch paired with Thomasin Taquitos Red Wine Braised Short Ribs, but the real star of the night was the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Popcorn.

It turns out popcorn wasn't always a traditional theater treat, but we're glad it became one, and that Nitehawk decided to take the now classic snack to the next level. It reminded Theo of her favorite childhood treat: the snickerdoodle. And so her addictive take on the buttery, salty cinnamon-sugar popcorn was born.

What you'll need: 1 cup popcorn kernels 1/4 cup neutral oil 1 stick (8 tbsp) salted butter 1/3 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp coarse salt

Recipe Steps:

  1. Pop kernels with oil in a large pot, then transfer to a large mixing bowl.

  2. Melt 1 stick (8 tbsp) salted butter in small saucepan with 1/3 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.

  3. Whisk until sugar dissolves. Pour over popcorn and toss until coated. Season with 1 tsp coarse salt. Enjoy!
