Putting a little pep in our step with this coffee, banana, and coconut smoothie. The addition of inflammation fighting turmeric adds some extra health factor, and the touch of black pepper helps your body absorb the turmeric.
What you’ll need:
½ cup strongly brewed coffee (cooled)
1 ripe banana
4 tablespoons coconut milk
2 tablespoon raw cacao nibs
1 handful of ice
1 teaspoon of turmeric
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Add sweetener of your choice if you’ve got a sweet tooth.
Combine all ingredients together in a blender, blend, and enjoy!
